Prince On The Move, Just Not Turning It Loose
No wishing for Prince’s Turn Me Loose on I-Tunes…or on any format for that matter!
Turn Me Loose was just a leak. The DJ got the cut from Prince’s studio after begging for it after just one listen! He promised not to play it on air, then couldn’t resist.
The song is not included on any cd and was recorded for posterity’s sake and placed in the vault.
Edna Gundersen, on the other hand, heard several tracks from an all-out rock and roll album that Prince just completed. It’s being mastered as we speak. No release date is being planned for the collection at this time.
Also in the works is a project with Tal Wilkenfeld & Michael B. providing the music for Shelby J’s debut cd. The first song, “North Carolina”, will feature Anthony Hamilton and Prince on backing vocals and will be released as soon as it is finished. Also planned is a NY book release party (details forthcoming) that the whole band and crew are looking forward to. Pray for an afterparty somewhere, people!-Dr.FB

That is GREAT!. Can’t wait 2 hear all projects. Michael B backing Shelby with that hard drum sound. Wish Prince would change his mind and release “Turn me loose”. But a new R&R album is a good replacement. Prince & Anthony back up vocals….WOW!

u know a lot of so called FANS/fam in the [Prince] community do not like Turn Me Loose, me on the other hand, I love it. The lyrics 4 the song is a trip and 1/2. Thanx 4 the news.
