50 Cent, 79 Cent, 89 Cent Or 99 Cent…

Apparently, Rapper Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, is suing the fast food chain Taco Bell. He is claiming that they are using his name without his permission in an advertisment that asks him to call himself 99 Cent in their “Why Pay More?” campaign.

Rob Poetsch, Corp spokeperson for Taco Bell stated “We made a good faith, charitable offer to 50 Cent to change his name to either 79, 89, or 99 Cent for just one day by raping his order at a Taco Bell and we would have been very pleased to make a donation of $10k to the charity of his choice”

This isn’t the first time the rapper has sued over his name and or image. 

 I personally think he must be seriously bored.  If he has time to sue Taco Bell over something as stupid as this, he must not have anything else better to do.  It would appear that Taco Bell made a simple and doable offer to him, for charity, I might add,  and it is being blown all out of proportion.  Seems a bit selfish to me.
