Christian Bale Assault Update

We have learned that a source close to Christian Bale has spoken about the recent accusations and his arrest.  The source said that Christian had confronted his mother, Jenny Bale after she allegedly insulted him and his wife.  Jenny was saying some outrageous things, which made him fly off the handle.

Christian believes that his mother is completely at fault because she became extremely provacative during the argument.  Things just got out of control and he wishes he could’ve just walked away, but he was trapped in the confrontation by a huge crowd of fans and paps outside.

Christian is said to have become depressed over the recent and tragic death of Heath Ledger.  On top of that, he has been feeling a lot of stress due to other personal issues.  But he stated that he did not lay a finger on anyone and he is confident that he did nothing wrong.

The source also said that Bale can have a horrible temper and he sometimes will lash out at the people aound him.  Although, currently his marriage is not perfect, his relationship with his mother is far worse.
