J*Davey Entertains Crowd & Rock Royalty

J*Davey just finished a lil over an hour set that left fans sweating and waving their hands in the “Ayre” as Flo Rida & Wil I Am would say. 

The free concert as we told you about (http://drfunkenberry.wordpress.com/2008/07/07/free-jdavey-concert-in-la-tuesday/) was something else and afterwards was bumping with DJ Rashida on the 1’s n 2’s while we left. 

To our surprise, Prince showed up in support of J*Davey and watched their set.  We only say to our surprise because the Echoplex’s VIP area always looked rather small to us.  Love the venue nonetheless.  Prince left a little bit before the end of J*Davey’s set to beat the crowd. 

J’s new cd dropped earlier today and may not end up #1 with Beck’s new CD dropping, but we hope it makes top 5.-Dr.FB
